With a long and exceptional international career as a sailor (7 world championships, 2 European championships), Sébastien Col has recently supported teams and sailors striving for performance.

By joining Team Holcim-PRB, Sébastien aims, with the help of a team of technical experts, to best prepare the project to meet the dual ambition of guiding Nicolas Lunven in the upcoming Vendée Globe and Rosalin Kuiper in 2025 in The Ocean Race Europe. The challenge is significant but aligns perfectly with Sébastien's desire to now leverage his high-level sailing experience, notably from the America's Cup and offshore racing, to contribute to the collective success in terms of sport, technical excellence, and team spirit.

Sébastien was drawn to the international dimension of Team Holcim-PRB, Holcim-PRB's commitment to performance and innovation, the strong message for environmental preservation with the GO CIRCULAR campaign, as well as the people who make up the team. Recently joining Team Holcim-PRB, Sébastien, who won the 2015 Transat Jacques Vabre with Vincent Riou on the IMOCA PRB, has quickly settled in, while the boat is currently in refit and is set to launch next week."I'm super excited about this new challenge. With the team, we have a great ambition with the Vendée Globe and Nicolas Lunven, and The Ocean Race with Rosalin Kuiper. We're already at work, and each team member is extremely motivated and committed. It's this shared drive that will help us tackle the challenges ahead," explains Sébastien Col.

For Nicolas Lunven, Sébastien's appointment as Team Manager is excellent news that resonates with his own ambition. As he enters the final stretch of preparing for his solo round-the-world race, Nicolas knows that Sébastien's keen sporting and technical eye will be crucial for both him and the team in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, Rosalin Kuiper will be able to rely on the new manager to finalize her project for The Ocean Race Europe 2025 and refine the team that will support her in her first round-the-world race as skipper.
