PlanetSail’s Matt Sheahan has another catch-up Sailjuice’s Andy Rice in Marseille where he’s been reporting for World Sailing at the Olympic Regatta.

The first ever knock-out format Medal Series that we’ve seen in the Games, with Tom Reuveny winning a men’s windsurfing gold for Israel and Marta Maggetti winning Italy’s fourth ever Olympic sailing gold in the history of the modern Olympics. After dominating the competition all week, Emma Wilson of Great Britain was distraught to only come away with the bronze.

Andy Rice reveals some of the comments made by IOC President Thomas Bach's visit to the 49er/49erFX Medal Races.

Lots of other action in the other fleets come up for discussion between Matt and Andy.
