The King Felipe of Spain presents the awards to the winners of the 42nd Copa del Rey MAPFRE

This Saturday, 3th August, Ses Voltes hosted the presentation of trophies for the 42nd Copa del Rey MAPFRE. The ceremony, which took place at 21:00 hours at the end of the last day of competition, was presided over by King Felipe of Spain, who presented the awards to the winners of the eight categories of the great Mediterranean event.

Among the authorities attending the event were also Elena Sanz, CEO of MAPFRE Iberia; Rafael Gil, president of the Real Club Náutico de Palma; Margarita Prohens, president of the Balearic Government; Jaime Martínez, Mayor of Palma; Gabriele le Senne, president of the Balearic Parliament; Aina Calvo, delegate of the Government; Fernando Luis Gracia, Commander General of the Balearic Islands; Llorenç Galmés, president of the Consell de Mallorca; and Chimo González, president of the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation.

The winners of the 42nd Copa del Rey MAPFRE were the Spanish Teatro del Soho Altavista in Watches of Switzerland ORC 0, Elena Nova in Odilo ORC 1, Fala Pouco in Balearia ORC 3, Pez de Abril in ClubSwan 42, Kimpton Hotels Les Roches in Sandberg Estates J70 and Citanias RCN Vigo in Women's Cup Class; the Argentinean Katara in Altavista ORC 2; and the German Earlybird in ClubSwan 50. The overall title in ORC category went to Fala Pouco.
