Barcolana is set to amaze its audience once again with a major innovation dedicated to all those who have always wanted to participate in the world's largest regatta: introducing "Ticket To Race", the opportunity to register as an individual sailor and be assigned to a crew, regardless of your experience level.

"We decided to bring the 'Ticket To Race' project to life," says Dean Bassi, Sports Director of the Società Velica di Barcola e Grignano, "to allow anyone without a boat to participate in the Coppa d'autunno. We want to make this participation as easy as possible. The core of our event is the people, and with this initiative, even sailors without a boat will be protagonists: we will form crews of people who don't know each other but are united by the same passion for sailing and the desire to participate in the regatta."

Participating in Barcolana56 presented by Generali with Ticket To Race will be incredibly simple. The organization will provide everything needed: the boat, the skipper, and the mooring in front of Piazza Unità, the largest sea-facing square in Europe. Participants only need to bring their own sailing gear and their passion for sailing. The registration fee also includes a training session on Saturday afternoon to get into the spirit of the regatta. Additionally, those who want to experience real seafaring life can sleep on the boat they'll use in the Sunday regatta for free.

To register, simply visit the website barcolana.it and sign up as a sailor on the "Ticket to Race" page. Once the registration is completed, the SVBG staff will take care of everything else, from forming the crew to planning the participation.
