David Mossman has been appointed as the new Head of Sales for Electronics at Wescom Group. Well known within the marine industry, Mossman brings over 20 years of experience to the Wescom Group.

For the past eight years, whilst working at Marlow Ropes, Mossman has transitioned into senior sales roles, having initially worked in UK retail before leading EU distribution. With a passion for sailing, he also has experience as a yacht skipper and sailing coach.

"Joining Wescom Group is a huge privilege," says Mossman. "I am passionate about the importance of safety products and look forward to working with the team to further develop the sMRT and Eflare brands, including the sMRT ALERT and sMRT V300 Class M compliant man overboard devices."

David's extensive experience will be a valuable asset to the Wescom Group team, where his role will include developing international sales working with Wescom's network of distributors. David's electronics technology focus will be with Wescom Group's Eflare range of hazard safety lights and the award winning sMRT marine distress beacons.
