With discounted entry fees continuing until the end of July, this is a great time to book yourself in for one of the south coast's biggest, liveliest and most sociable regattas for dinghies and small keelboats.

Poole Week runs from 25th to 30th August and has already attracted over 140 entries across all the fleets, from the ever-popular ILCA 6s and 7s to the RS200s, Darts, Wayfarers, Flying Fifteens, XODs, Poole Dolphins and Cornish Shrimpers, not to mention the miscellany that adds colour and interest to make up the handicap fleets.

Not only have entries been rolling in, but new sponsors and supporters have also been coming aboard to join Badger Beers and the title sponsors, Bournemouth Digital. Dorset Private GP and the Bournemouth-based solicitors Preston Redman are each sponsoring a day, helping to make the event one of the highlights in the sailing calendar and to ensure a tempting array of prizes.

Rooster's multifaceted support continues in 2024 as well. A popular addition last year is set to be repeated, with a Rooster pop-up stall on site at Parkstone Yacht Club from Tuesday 27th August giving anyone who needs - or would simply like - some new kit the opportunity to buy.

For more details and to take advantage of the reduced entry fees before the end of July, visit www.PooleWeek.org
