Justin Callahan and Trevor Davis win Quantum Snipe National Championship 2024 at Jubilee Yacht Club

by Paul Earl 1 Jul 2024 23:34 PDT June 25-29, 2024

The 2024 Quantum Snipe Nationals wrapped up on Saturday at Jubilee Yacht Club in Beverly Massachusetts. There were 44 boats racing in the Heinzerling Series and 8 in the Wells Series, with sailors from 10 states and Canada participating.

Eight races over four days were held in mostly light and shifty wind from all directions.

Meeting the challenge with superb consistency across all races for a total of 15 points were Justin Callahan of Biscayne Bay Yacht Club with crew Trevor Davis. Typical of the Snipe class, the races were highly contested throughout the regatta. Additional results are given below with full results available on theclubspot.com.

We would like to thank the sponsors who helped make the regatta a big success – including title sponsor Quantum Sails; platinum sponsors Mount Gay and Beverly Insurance; and Ronstan, Jibetech, Dwyer Mast & Rigging, Dynamic Dollies, and numerous other local businesses and individuals. Their financial and in-kind donations allowed us to provide a top-notch regatta both on land and on the water. After-racing refreshments and meals, daily drawings, and a silent auction rounded out the Snipe mantra of “Serious Sailing, Serious Fun” with a good time had by all!
