ILCA 4 World Championship 2024 at Viana do Castelo, Portugal - Overall

by Prow Media / ILCA 30 Jun 2024 15:24 PDT 23-30 June 2024

Despite the weather constraints, the young sailors demonstrated remarkable resilience and skill, making the most of the conditions to deliver thrilling performances on the water. The final races were a testament to the dedication and talent of these young athletes, who have trained tirelessly for this moment.

Due to wind conditions, only the gold and silver fleets for boys and gold girls competed today.

The championship wrapped up with a prize-giving ceremony, where the top sailors were honoured for their exceptional achievements.

The closing ceremony featured a joyful celebration with food and beverages, providing an opportunity for participants, coaches, and supporters to come together and reflect on the week's events. The atmosphere was festive, marking the end of this prestigious event with a sense of community and shared success.
