ILCA 4 World Championship 2024 at Viana do Castelo, Portugal - Day 2

by Prow Media / ILCA 27 Jun 01:36 PDT 23-30 June 2024

On Wednesday, with the D Flags up around 11:45, allowing the boats to go out on the water, the 427 sailors sailed out to an already windy sail course area.

Amazing wind conditions allowed two fantastic races for each fleet with a total of starts completed due to the huge number of sailors.

In the Men's Fleet Lithuania's Erik Scheidt leads, with Spain's Blanca Ferrando Babe leading the Women's Fleet.

The race committee plans two races for the Thursday 27th June, with the races starting at 13:00hrs.
