Bertram announces new premium 34 Center Console model

by Bertram Yachts 25 Jun 2024 09:26 PDT

Bertram Yachts, a longstanding leader in the marine industry renowned for crafting world-class sportfishing boats since the 1960s, expands its legacy with the launch of the Bertram 34CC.

Meticulously designed for the serious angler, their families, and friends, this latest addition embodies the same durability and build quality synonymous with Bertram's larger vessels.

The Bertram 34CC is packed with features that cater to both fishing enthusiasts and those seeking leisure on the water. Anglers will appreciate the spacious, open cockpit, which includes four large insulated fishboxes to keep the day's catch fresh. The design incorporates a wide engine well bridge for easy access to the transom, along with ample rod storage and holders for added convenience during offshore trips. Navigating these waters is a breeze thanks to the deep vee hull design and premium engine power exclusively from Mercury Marine.

Beyond its fishing capabilities, the Bertram 34CC caters to family and friends with ease, featuring best-in-class accommodations. These include a forward aft entrance to the spacious air-conditioned cabin, which boasts a fold-down couch that converts to a full queen bed, along with a head and vanity, providing convenience and luxury onboard. Abundant seating options, including three wide helm seats, wrap-around bow seating, fold-down transom seats, and aft-facing transom seating, ensure comfort for all passengers. The vessel's convertible spaces allow for seamless transitions between serious fishing trips and relaxed gatherings. Owners can also opt for mezzanine seating, tackle centers, and other leisure features such as a sun pad, sun shade, and kitchen system.

"We've integrated lessons from our best-running hulls to create the perfect blend," said Nicholas Fletcher, Bertram's Naval Architect Program Manager. "We focused on balancing weight and running surface to deliver a ride that is comfortable and dynamically refined." The 34CC also provides exceptional stability and handling due to its design evolution, making it stand out in performance.

Enhancing its functionality further, the 34CC's fishboxes are designed with specific drainage systems for use as in-floor storage, offering flexibility based on the customer's preference and needs for the day. These compartments drain properly to ensure gear remains dry, providing a hassle-free experience on the water.

Bertram's approach to product design emphasizes elegant, reliable solutions that enhance the user experience. The company continues to leverage strategic partnerships with industry leaders like Mercury and Garmin. "We prioritize resilient, proven system designs over high-tech solutions that can be difficult to manage," noted Dan Hamilton, Bertram's Director of Product Development and Engineering. "Our approach ensures reliability and ease of use for our customers."

Bertram continues to innovate and expand its product line. "We are looking to grow our portfolio with new models in the larger size range," hinted Dan. Bertram Yachts remains committed to producing vessels that stand the test of time, ensuring a high level of confidence and safety on the water. The Bertram 34CC, available in various color options, configurations, and engine power selections, represents the pinnacle of premium craftsmanship and quality in the marine industry.
