The 2024 edition of the Hartley Boats Blaze National Championship will take place at Pembrokeshire Yacht Club, between 21st and 23rd of June, 2024.

Pembrokeshire Yacht Club is set to host the 2024 edition of the Blaze National Championship, gracefully sponsored by Hartley Boats, between 21st and 23rd of June 2024, with more than 50 boats entered for 3 days of racing, on-shore entertainment and more.

The following is a random selection of riders, by no means influenced by beer transactions over the course of the year.

The ruling champion, Ben "Hard'n'Fast" Harden, ready to not only defend his status, but maybe even set some records.

Class chairman Charlie "Machine Gun" Matthews, fresh from the East Coast Championship, where he ruined everyone's fun by winning all the races.

Hartley Boats representative and class technical officer Will "I'll miss the taxi" Gould, luckily, there is no taxi to be missed this time.

The first to register to this edition and class marketing coordinator Andy "Master of the webs" Wilson, sits on second on the 2024 Travellers series.

Nic "Alex Porteous" Tolhurst, back on the racks after a knee injury, hopeful to come first in the Masters race.

Christian "The keeper of the camping spots" Smart, Pembrokeshire Yacht Club commodore, might have a different opinion on who the first Master should be.

Stefan "The brother" Smart, with absolutely no interest in letting Christian get away with it.

Robbie "The son" Smart, looking forward to the day when he can say: "Dad, I beat you with a Fire sail".

Ex class chairman of 6 years, Richard Botting successfully avoided being run over by a trimaran at the 2023 edition, a feat he hopes to accomplish this year too.

Newcomer to the class, Alan Harris-Guerrero, after a successful Blaze Open at Carsington SC, set to make his mark, hopefully avoiding the pink outfit.

Master of Hartley Boats chandlery and ex champion Eden "I might or might not come" Hyland, a likely contender, as long as he's not led astray.

Currently 1st in the Travellers series, Doug "Catch me if you can" Clow, looking to build upon his great results so far.

Rory "The young one" Clow, the youngest competitor this year, won't be afraid to push people around on the water in a quest for blazing glory.

The list could go on, but since 13 is a nice round number, we are going to stop here.

The Blaze class is happy to visit the Pembrokeshire Yacht Club Blaze contingent, one of the most active in the country, with PYC Blazers being a constant presence at events during the season.

This edition of the Blaze Nationals is set to blow wide open the Travellers series, with the event being the 3rd qualifying race for many of the competitors in the 2024 edition.
