Marselisborg Sejlklub is excited to host their first International 29er EuroCup at the end of May 2024 which will serve as a warm up regatta for the upcoming 29er World Championships which are to be hosted by Sailing Aarhus 1st-9th August 2024.

The regatta will be hosted at the Aarhus International Sailing Center, which is a newly built sailing facility on Aarhus Island. The entry list includes competitors visiting from Finland, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden and of course Denmark.

Summer has arrived in Aarhus with light to medium wind conditions and warm weather - we expect to have approximately 70 boats competing at this event in the Bay of Aarhus. We expect a light sea breeze from an easterly direction on the sunny days and many sailors are looking forward to having the rare opportunity to pick up some local knowledge ahead of racing for the World Championships commencing at the beginning of August.

Warm meals will be served at the end of each race day and there will be plenty of stations to fill water bottles around the sailing center, helping to minimise waste and single use plastic water bottles in line with the International 29er Class objectives as a Sailors for the Sea Clean Class.

We look forward to hosting you all and are hoping for great sailing conditions and solid racing over the coming long weekend!

Racing starts 31st May until 2nd June.
