X90 FAST first unit sold

by Extra Yachts 25 May 2024 02:36 PDT

EXTRA Yachts announces the sale of the first unit of X90 Fast with delivery expected in summer 2025. The client was introduced by Kristina Falkone of Aberton Yachts.

This marks the third joint deal with Aberton Yachts, following the previously signed agreements for two X96 Triplex hulls n.3 and n.4.

Designed by the Milan based studio Hot Lab, the new X90 Fast stands out for its unmistakable lines. The subdued design of the windows concealed in the hull, allows for the linear silhouette of the profile to be maintained and for natural light to flood the interior.

EXTRA X90 Fast is the sportiest model of the renewed EXTRA range. Drawing from the great experience gained with the 76, 86, 88 and 99 models, this new project, a 27-metre in CE class, is entirely in GRP and leverages a tested and efficient layout. Indeed, we find a spacious living room, separated from the stern cockpit by the typical galley with up/down windows, which not only provides a partition between the two spaces, but also functions as a transit and distribution area. From the galley the crew can reach both their quarters, located forward of the engine room, and the sun deck (also served by an external walkway). All this to leave the fore lounge and the wheelhouse (with smoked glass closure) free from crew transit and, if necessary, to the exclusive use of guests. The lounge layout offers the option of an indoor dining table or a large relaxation area with bar.

The outdoor areas constitute the true strong point, relying on 86sqm of volume to satisfy the needs of those owners particularly keen to have easy contact with the environment and the sea. The cockpit develops on three levels: 8/10-seater dining table, living area with C-shaped sofa and sunbathing spot and finally, at water surface, the bathing section.

The sun deck includes a large sunbathing spot, a dining and relaxation area as well as a fully equipped bar. The optional version includes the addition of a second helm station and a fitted T-Top. A C-shaped sofa with up/down table completes the main deck forward. Here the optional version provides for the addition of a Jacuzzi with sun pad.

The interior proposal is versatile with two variants involving the use of natural wood in various elements. The color palette includes the combination of white and natural wood with glass inserts. The structural furniture becomes lighter to emphasize views of the outside, the main theme of being on board. Below deck, there are 4 double cabins served by private bathrooms, with a master cabin amidships to take advantage of the 7.1 metre maximum beam.

A crew of four people finds accommodation in two cabins with private bathrooms. The propulsion system includes three IPS 1350 Volvo Penta engines allowing to reach a maximum nominal speed of 30 knots. The cruise speed is 24 knots, while at 12 knots the yacht range is 1000 nautical miles.

X90 Fast is intended for mature owners looking for a design with strong characteristics and exceptional internal liveability with the possibility of having a customization not comparable to any option currently available on the market.
