The Graduates head to Carsington this weekend for their National Championships, sharing the water with the Miracles in what promises to be a fab weekend in the Midlands! It's time to give Y&Y the article everyone has been waiting for: the runners and riders for the Graduate national championships 2024!

G3009 - John & Jamie Clementson

With his win at last year's nationals, JC now has six Graduate national titles to his name. Only Steve Cockerill has more, with a mind boggling eight Graduate national championship victories. Will John add another title to his collection at Carsington?

G3013 - Brynster Abendstern & Emma Robertson

At Northampton last year, Brynster was the surprise package, upgrading his seventh place finish in 2022 to a third place result, and only 1 point behind first place. With a new crew this year, can Brynster climb the podium?

G3020 - Fresh Abendstern & Ross Southwell

Two national titles for Fresh so far, and one for Ross, the pair will be eager to put in a strong performance. Plenty of boatwork has been happening behind the scenes, but will it translate into boatspeed?

G2839 - Chris & Chloe Parker

Always on the pace, C. Parker is not to be written off. Winning the final race of the nationals last year, Chloe will be keen to show everyone that she is the best grad crew in the country and coach her dad round the course!

G3026 - Bob & Maggie Murrell

A year since taking delivery of their new Butler Grad, our class chair and championship secretary will be looking to push the boat towards the pointy end of the fleet!

Entries are still open, so if you're getting FOMO from reading this, dig your Grad out the garden/garage/sailing club and get yourself to Carsington! Camping up the road for a tenner a night, a fully stocked bar and a personal guarantee of sunshine all weekend.
