A joint event organised by Sussex Yacht Club & Shoreham Sailing Club, The Festival of the Sea will take place on Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd June. Shoreham Sailing Club will be hosting the dinghy entrants in the best sea sailing location on the south coast.

We launch from the protected harbour, with a short sail out to the course.

This year, 2 of the races will count towards the "Battle of the Beaches" - a series between Shoreham SC, Sussex YC & Lancing SC. So, expect a busy start line!

Entrants can choose the "standard event" (6 races over the 2 days) or the "Black Rock event" (3 races on the Saturday & then the prestigious long distance Black Rock Race on the Sunday).

Classes that we anticipate visiting us this year include the National 12s, Phantoms, Contenders & as ever the Merlins.

There will also be a plethora of Hadron H2s, D-Zeros, Lasers, Wayfarers, RS200s... the list goes on.

Camping is available but limited.

Notice of Race and bookings are available on the Shoreham Sailing Club website.
