Schmitt Marine wheel graces new Carbon Hyper Skiff

by Schmitt Marine 18 May 2024 02:33 HKT

The eagerly awaited F2 Carbon Hyper Skiff from Fly Boatworks sets a new benchmark for premium-class flats boats. Technologically advanced in every respect, it fuses performance-driven design and leading-edge materials. That's why the boatbuilder opted for the carbon fiber Primus CF Steering Wheel from Schmitt Marine. In concept and execution, the wheel matches the skinny-water skiff's meticulous fit and finish and unmatched quality.

The 34.3cm Primus CF features a three-spoke design with glossy carbon fiber overlaid on a fiberglass backbone. UV-resistant black Santoprene rubber finger and rim grips reduce fatigue and provide all-weather comfort. A matching control knob with glass ball bearings quickens maneuvering. The Primus CF is NMMA Type Accepted meeting ABYC standards and CE certified.

"I chose the Primus CF wheel because of Schmitt Marine's incomparable workmanship," said Mark Fisher, Fly Boatworks team principal. "I've never seen finer quality in my time as a boatbuilder." Fisher has been a loyal Schmitt customer for over 24 years.

World-class Fly Boatworks fishing platforms are handcrafted to deliver a second-to-none customer experience. Founded in 2015, the Clearwater, Florida, US-based boatbuilder also offers the F18 Tiller Poling Skiff. Its website is www.flyboatworks.com.
