Fiumanka is a regatta that has been held in Rijeka for 25 years. This unique international nautical event attracts sailing enthusiasts, media, and entrepreneurs from across the region.

If you have not yet had the opportunity to visit Croatia, a country with a thousand islands and the beautiful Adriatic Sea, Fiumanka is an excellent opportunity! Spice up your visit with fun, making new friends and even business connections.

The regatta was organized for the first time in 2000 when 114 sailboats gathered on the sea in front of Rijeka. At that time Fiumanka was the largest regatta in Croatia, and since then it has continued to grow, develop, and build its international recognition. Over the years, the regatta has become deeply rooted in the identity of the city, as an important maritime destination and the largest Croatian port. Throughout history, Rijeka has been the center of trade, shipbuilding, and seafaring, and Fiumanka continues that glorious maritime history and love for the sea and sailing.

In addition to sports, Fiumanka also offers a diverse program accompanied by musical, gastronomic, cultural and sports events. During the regatta, Rijeka becomes a lively destination with numerous visitors enjoying the atmosphere of the coastal and maritime city.

With Fiumanka, it is especially important to point out that it is completely free and sets it apart from other big regattas. Participation is open to all sailing enthusiasts without any entry fees! Along with registration, participants also receive a free mooring in the city port, in the heart of the city, and each participant also receives a free official regatta t-shirt as a memento of their participation.

Fiumanka is more than just sailing; it has become one of the symbols of Rijeka and an event that unites people through love for the sea. Its participants share the story through their adventures on the regatta field, shared moments, interesting encounters, and friendships.
