Heysea Australia to host the global launch of the Vista75 at SCIBS 2024

by Heysea Yachts 25 Apr 22:00 PDT 23-26 May 2024

At the 2024 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, Heysea Australia will host the global launch of the Heysea Vista75 Powercat, a customised, long-range cruising multihull with the space and pace for global navigation.

Named "Tabula Rasa", because this is the owners' fresh start and first foray into boat ownership, the Heysea Vista75 is currently undertaking its maiden voyage to Australia from Hong Kong with its owners on board to attend the SCIBS 2024, 23 to 26 May.

Enroute, they will enjoy diving, fishing and exploring the pristine islands of Raja Ampat, Indonesia, located within the coral triangle and teeming with marine life, birds, fascinating islands and breathtaking anchorages.

At 22.88-metres and with a beam of 11.28-metres, the Vista75 is replete with luxury features, such as a generously-sized terrace on the foredeck with lounge and dining setup, aft deck with versatile dining/lounge space and expansive sundeck which boasts undercover dining area, bar, sunpads and a 4-person jacuzzi.

Her thoroughly contemporary interiors are characterised by an extended dining section, opposite the professional Chef's galley, with a separate lounge space and helm and large windows for natural light and 320-degree panoramic views from every angle.

The latest entertainment system includes retractable TVs in every cabin and both salons. The storage is exceptional and includes electric slide-up cupboards located behind the galley bench top to ensure easy access and full use of every available space, ideal for extended periods on board.

Below decks, the accommodation comprises four cabins, including a lavish master suite with lounge and office, ensuite and walk-in robe. The three guest cabins are equally well-designed with ensuite and wardrobes.

In terms of performance, the Vista75 excels. It is equipped with two 1000hp engines with a range of 2,000 nautical miles as standard, with larger tanks as options. This state-of-the-art power transmission system, based on automotive standards, provides owners with the ability for global navigation and an unparalleled cruising experience.

As for innovative green and sustainable design, this new model leads the industry with its optional solar power system on the flybridge hardtop. Solar panel input will match vessel requirements if managed, creating quiet days on the water.

The boat is set up for "hotel mode", which means no generator running for approximately 12 hours silent at night with almost full functionality, excluding the air conditioner. A great deal of thought went into ensuring excellent ventilation via the large overhead hatches.

According to Tony Ross, Managing Director at Heysea Australia, the owners were looking for "a large, easy to handle, long-range cruising platform for the Mediterranean, and Heysea were able to build their ideal power cat."

This would be their first motor yacht and they needed it to be straight forward to operate, easy to maintain and service, and most importantly, designed in a way that the owners could welcome their friends aboard - up to three additional couples at one time - and socialise, relax and entertain in comfort, as well as spread out and enjoy time alone with privacy and tranquillity for each couple.

"The Vista75 places the focus on communal living and the ability to have eight people or more on board for extended cruising with plenty of space inside and on deck for all to seek their own space."

Designed by Italian superyacht specialist, VYD Studio, the first Vista75 has been built to superyacht standard.

As Tony explains, "It has the most luxurious feel of any brand in this category, using marble, leather, fine timbers and European equipment.

"The saloon and flybridge can be easily customised to suit an owner's preferences. There's the option of crew quarters in the bow, and the internal layout also allows the ability to add a dedicated captain's cabin or a fifth cabin."

The entire vessel has been designed for ease of operation. "Every system and function has been set up for owner-operators to be capable of running the vessel, in terms of handling, anchoring and maintaining her."

Heysea was established in 2004 and is celebrating 20 years, during which time the yard has delivered more than 100 yachts.

Focusing on craftsmanship and semi-custom builds, Heysea is ranked 12th in the Global Order Book of boat manufacturers.

In early 2023, the first 43-metre superyacht, the first 43-metre superyacht, the Asteria 142 was successfully delivered to owners in Thailand. One year on, the vessel has many hundreds of nautical miles under her belt and owners who are thrilled with their choice.

At SCIBS 2024, 22.8-metre (75-foot) Tabula Rasa will be moored on J-Arm among the most prestigious and covetable international superyachts, and she will certainly command her own share of the spotlight.

Visitors will be struck by Tabula Rasa's proportions, her elegant profile, and at night, her LED lighting that illuminates her sleek lines and creates an on board ambience for every occasion.
