Share your plans and encourage your friends, clubs and organizations to join the fun.

How can you participate in this international Sailor's Holiday? Here's a few ideas to get you started:

  1. Individual Events! You go out on a solo sail, or invite your friends and family out for the day together. See Gail Turlock's sailing plans aboard her Sunfish in South Gull Lake, Michigan.
  2. Public Events! You are inviting the public to participate in a sailing event, such as a group outing organized by Marine ServiceCenter. See the info on the 22nd Annual PNW Summer Sailstice Jeanneau Rendezvous for inspiration.
  3. Demonstration Events! Your club is hosting a race, like Edgartown Race Week, or cruise that showcases and publicizes sailing but it is not open to the public. What a great way to show the world what your club or fleet has to offer!

Are you racing and don't think you can participate? Ask the organizing group to post it as a public or demonstraton event and post it yourself as an Individual Event you're participating in.

There is something for everyone - you can participate solo or in groups, on lakes, bays, rivers, or oceans! Whether you've been sailing the Sailstice for 20 years or are new to the community, it's easy to participate in the fun - login now to get started.
