Swiss Team 838 dominate SNIM J/70 Regatta

The SNIM J/70 Regatta took place from March 29 to April 1. More than 100 competitors, including nineteen J/70s, took part in this 58th International Nautical Week of the Mediterranean, the first Mediterranean stage of the J/70 Coupe de France.

After all races, it was Alec ARDIN's TEAM 838 from Switzerland that dominated the fleet, posting four 1sts in the five races. The balance of the podium was determined by a tie-breaker at 15 pts each. Winning that countback to earn the silver medal was Fernando Alonso's TRISKELL, with Lionel Tissot's BLACK BOARD having to settle for the bronze medal. Rounding out the top five was Phillippe Guigne's SAILING IMPACT in fourth, with Xavier Rohart's JEUNE MADE IN SUD finishing fifth place by winning yet another tie-breaker on 20 pts each.
