MB92 Group, the world's leading name in superyacht refit and repair with shipyards in Barcelona and La Ciotat, today proudly introduces "The Bridge by MB92," its innovative digital client platform.

Designed to streamline operations and consolidate crucial project data, The Bridge by MB92 offers clients unprecedented control over their projects, enabling remote access for project stakeholders, including owners, from anywhere in the world.

Developed over the last two years and following a rigorous testing phase involving valuable support from a number of clients, the custom-built portal is part of the company's ongoing commitment to service improvement, aiming to provide the best refit experience on every project. The Bridge by MB92 also serves as an essential tool in enhancing synergies between projects managed across MB92 Group shipyards.

While plans are already in place to add new functions in the future, the platform initially includes the following features:

  • Real-time monitoring of project progress and budgeting
  • Seamless request and acceptance of quotations
  • Centralised project-related communications, notifications, and messages
  • Simplified process for registering warranty claims

Rubén Carmona, Director of I.T. & Digitalisation at MB92 Group, emphasised the significance of this launch, stating, "The introduction of The Bridge marks a pivotal milestone in our digitalisation strategy. Drawing from over three decades of project management expertise and a deep understanding of our clients' needs, we opted to develop this platform in-house rather than relying on off-the-shelf solutions. By consolidating project management tools into a single, user-friendly interface, we aim to further optimise project performance, ensuring peace of mind for our clients."

Clients that took part in the testing phase, using The Bridge during their most recent project at MB92, commented the following:

"We have been using The Bridge over the last 12 months on our projects at both MB92 shipyards and at first were hesitant of another platform. However, we quickly realised that all the contract data was in one place for us to review and the logging of accepted works versus quoted/pending allowed better evaluation of the project workload and budget performance." - Dean Smith, Director at Hampshire Marine

"MB92's new The Bridge portal shows great promise, offering centralised communication and efficiency for critical project components. A valuable tool in the advancement of projects, I expect this system to continue developing and look forward to experiencing the results." - Captain, 45m Feadship
