Learn from industry experts all you need to know to operate an eco-friendly marina and how you can self-certify your facility as Clean & Resilient. You'll learn best management practices and how to comply with federal rules and permits that guide your operations.

The one-and-a-half-day course includes classwork and activities as well as a marina tour to put what you learn into practice.

The following topics will be covered:

  • Sitting and design consideration for new and expanding marinas
  • Marina maintenance, facilities, and habitat
  • Stormwater management
  • Vessel maintenance and repair
  • Petroleum control and hazardous waste management
  • Sewage and gray water management
  • Waste reduction, disposal, recycling, and management
