Little change at top for first Finn World Ranking of 2024

France's Laurent Hay has increased his lead at the top of the latest release of the Finn World Ranking to 200 points following the first regattas in 2024. Hay maintains the top place for the fifth time in a row. Portugal's Filipe Silva remains second with Bartosz Szydlowski, from Poland, in third.

Despite 12 regattas from the World Tour for Finns being included in the new release, there is very little change at the top. The only change in the top 10 is that Peter Peet, from The Netherlands enters in ninth, replacing Bas de Waal.

The latest ranking list includes many national championships from late 2023 and early 2024 along with some secondary events and Semaine International de Finn in February that attracted a 65 boat fleet and was narrowly won by Hay to help maintain his top position in the ranking.
