British power catamaran builder Archipelago Yachts has announced Oaksmith Yachts as its first US dealership, located in the Pacific Northwest.

Oakmith Yachts was founded on the pillars of adventure, safety, capability and sustainability. The team prides itself on high-quality vessels paired with top-tier service, creating the ultimate experience for clientele.

Based in Seattle, Oaksmith's passion for authentic service, premium taste and sustainable solutions makes it the perfect fit for Archipelago Yachts, who is leading the way in the marine industry for sustainability, which was recently highlighted by its announcement of the Archipelago 63.

This sustainable catamaran is the world's first methanol-powered leisure vessel which boasts a revolutionary parallel hybrid system, seamlessly combining the clean energy derived from a pair of methanol reformers and hydrogen fuel cells. This innovative propulsion system allows the vessel to cruise silently at speeds of up to 10 knots. For high-speed performance, the design includes a direct-injection methanol engine, enabling the boat to reach a top speed of 22 knots.

When asked about the new collaboration, Founder of Oaksmith Yachts, Ben Oaksmith commented: "This new partnership with Archipelago Yachts offers our clients an incredible balance of capability, luxury, comfort, safety, and innovation within a diverse range of catamarans. We are thrilled to be the first US dealership to be representing this British boat builder, which helps fill a gap in the marketplace. Whether an Archipelago is used for world cruising, cruising the inside passage or the great loop, a day trip, or deep-sea fishing, these catamarans will serve our customers exceptionally well; no matter the adventure."

Designed by award-winning naval architects, Chartwell Marine, the Archipelago range embodies versatility, combining striking environmentally conscious aluminium construction with exceptional stability. Offering a thrilling and efficient cruising experience, all of the vessels are designed for discerning yacht enthusiasts and adventure seekers.

Dr Stephen Weatherley, Founder of Archipelago Yachts, said of the new dealership: "This is an exciting time for Archipelago as we announce our expansion into the US, highlighting the company's growth. Oaksmith Yachts has a real enthusiasm for the brand and prides itself on sustainability, which is a key value for Archipelago. I look forward to welcoming a new wealth of client relationships and beginning our new journey in the Pacific Northwest."

Oaksmith Yachts will showcase the unique products in the Archipelago family which include the Archipelago 40, 47, 52 and the Archipelago 63.
