The RS Class Association are delighted to announce that Marlow Ropes are to be title sponsor of the 2024 Noble Marine Marlow Ropes RS200 National Championship.

Bethan Matthew, RS200 Class Committee Event Rep said "The RS200 class is going from strength to strength and having Marlow Ropes on board as title sponsor for the Nationals in Mounts Bay emphasises this. We are so excited to work with Marlow Ropes to make this year's Nationals another huge one to remember! A massive thank you to the Marlow Ropes team - we really appreciate your support!"

Rob Henderson, UK Sales Manager, and previous RS200 Nationals Winner (with helm Maria Stanley), said "Marlow Ropes are very pleased to be title sponsors for the RS200 Nationals this year. Although it may appear to be a relatively straightforward setup, the RS200 demands a lot from the sailor and their feel of the boat. I am looking forward to being present at a regatta we are involved with. Being there will provide a real opportunity to accurately advise everyone as to the choices they have available to them - rope isn't just "rope"! Having sailed RS200s for almost 15 years now, it is a class close to my heart. I've always been a fan of how inclusive the fleet is, and how anyone can be as competitive as they wish to be without any limit on the fun to be had. See you there!"

Marlow Ropes will be supplying a generous prize package for winners across the fleet, as well as a welcome gift for all sailors taking part. Rob will lead rope splicing and rope knowledge workshops for the sailors.

RS200 Class association Chair, Will Taylor said "This is a great partnership for the RS200 class and we will be looking forward to improving our rope knowledge from Rob at Mounts Bay SC."

The Noble Marine Marlow Ropes RS200 National Championship takes place at Mounts Bay Sailing Club from 4th-9th August, with entry including a Commodore's Reception and exclusive trip to St. Michael's Mount, hosted by Lord and Lady St Levan.

With 33 entries received within the first few days of entry opening, this combination of the UK's most popular double-handed adult class, one of the UK's premier sailing venues and now this renowned renowned British rope manufacturer looks set to be a guaranteed winner!
