Outstanding performance combined with maximum cruising comfort for this 60-metre aluminium yacht designed, engineered and built by CRN at the Ancona Superyacht Yard.

Delivered in December 2022, the 60-metre aluminium M/Y Comfortably Numb is a paradigm of innovation and bespoke design by CRN. This unique project - with full-custom design, naval architecture, engineering and construction - was developed by the brand at the Ancona Superyacht Yard.

Highly innovative, she's the result of CRN's in-depth know-how and ongoing R&D effort. The shipyard's design and build quality blends admirably with the creativity of Italian architects Nuvolari Lenard, who developed the concept for the exterior styling and interiors. The result is a totally bespoke, handcrafted ship with spaces designed to offer a fantastic cruising experience, perfect for an owner family who enjoy spending long periods on board.

Keenly desired by expert owners who wanted a high-performance displacement superyacht, CRN M/Y Comfortably Numb combines reduced draft for cruising in the shallow waters of the Caribbean, courtesy of her in-line propellers, with generous ceiling heights and plenty of space in the guest and crew areas, both key features of the customer's vision and kept in mind by the shipyard's project management team throughout the design process.

CRN M/Y Comfortably Numb has a very strong stylistic identity, featuring exterior lines that are sleek, taut, sweeping and powerful, expressing the yacht's sophisticated yet contemporary elegance and tapping into the ideas of speed and fluidity typical of automotive design. The sculpted silhouette and bold exterior styling are eye-catching even from a distance, breathing life into a one-of-a-kind, full-custom icon.

60.33 metres long, 10.55 metres in the beam and with a gross tonnage of 1,114 GT, the superyacht spans five decks and can accommodate 12 guests and 13 crew. Featuring cutting-edge technology combined with superlative craftsmanship, CRN M/Y Comfortably Numb is designed for maximum cruising comfort, even on long voyages, and delivers unique performance for a pleasure vessel, with a top speed of over 25 knots. Designed and built to the highest standards of excellence and epitomising the brand's innovative approach, Comfortably Numb is a high-performance superyacht that marries outstanding performance with an exclusive on-board lifestyle. In the development process, there was a special focus on generous, comfortable living areas designed to convey a powerful sense of spaciousness: the light-filled interiors and exteriors are masterfully interconnected and amplified by floor-to-ceiling windows that establish constant, direct contact with the sea.

And with the ultimate aim of achieving the exacting weight and speed requirements stipulated in the contract, this hi-tech superyacht draws on materials research as complex as it is meticulous. One example is CRN's use of lightweight cork during the application and levelling of the teak decking, preferring it to higher-density alternatives.

With its team of specialist engineers and technical experts, CRN has devised a system of extremely precise strain gauges to constantly monitor the vessel's weight and centre of gravity via Wi-Fi. The two MTU 20V 4000 M93L engines - the first to be fitted on a CRN yacht - are combined with a SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system and power the vessel to a top speed of over 25 knots and a cruising speed of 22.5 knots. The CRN engineering team's razor-sharp focus on fine-tuning their design and calculations has created a supremely innovative, lightweight and high-performance superyacht.

The 60-metre CRN M/Y Comfortably Numb's IMO Tier III certification1 is the result of a reduction of up to 70% in harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions contained in the engine exhaust.

A dazzling combination of naval engineering, innovation, craftsmanship and bespoke Italian style, the 60-metre CRN M/Y Comfortably Numb is a sublime expression of the pooled expertise at the historic Ancona yard. For over 60 years, our talented staff, partners and suppliers operate there every day to create iconic yachts that are unique, distinctive and state-of-the-art, reflecting their owners' vision and lifestyle.
