Axopar is proud to unveil a new generation of adventure boats with the epic Axopar 29 range.

Premiering at boot Düsseldorf 2024, the Axopar 29 Cross Cabin and Sun-Top models have been developed and refined from the iconic Axopar 28 and herald a new era of adventure, blending customer feedback with cutting-edge enhancements in functionality, usability, comfort, and quality. With its bold design and innovative features, the Axopar 29 range offers exceptional value and sets a new standard.

Peter Hrones, Founder of Eyachts, was extremely impressed at the launch in Europe, remarking, "Every feature is meticulously crafted, elevating the Axopar 29 to a class of its own in the market. One particularly striking attribute is the expansive side decks, boasting a 30% increase over its predecessor making navigating these decks forward-facing a breeze."

Performance-based hull design

The Axopar 29 hull stays true to Axopar's DNA, despite the increased beam, the hull maintains its elegant 65 degrees deep V profile, pronounced chines and twin steps offering superior stability and performance. The 29 now reaches speeds of 48kts despite the bigger volume, and at 20% higher speed, the stats impressively show the same fuel efficiency. This Axopar is also the only 29-footer in its category to be rated category B for offshore cruising which is testament to the Axopar's outstanding strength and seaworthiness.

Social bow layouts

The bow area is optimized for socializing and relaxation, the layout features an L sofa and forward-facing seat as standard with an option for a U sofa as well as a forward or rear facing sunbed. The space has ample seating for up to 8 guests.

Peter expresses amazement at the spaciousness of the bow area, "It's impressive how much room they've created on a 29-footer, it competes with the space of the Axopar 37." He notes the innovative table design and ample storage options, "the additional high and low table legs and cushions are stored in the port locker for easy set-up of the table or sunbed layouts. Guests will really enjoy the forward-facing seat and the ability to move the sunbed to be forward facing while under way."

Whether you're enjoying a day out on the water or anchoring for a leisurely lunch, the bow layout provides the perfect setting for social gatherings.

New multi-cabin: forward head and overnight option

A game-changer in this category is the Axopar 29 forward head and berth option, providing a private space for overnight stays or for storing gear and luggage. The innovative design seamlessly transforms the space from a standard bathroom to a comfortable sleeping area, featuring electric amenities and ample storage.

Standing at 185cm tall, Hrones marvelled at the surplus room available and the effortless transition from a standard bathroom area to a comfortable double berth, "It's impressively spacious, exceeding my height and surprisingly wide, definitely enough room for two people comfortably."

Versatile aft layouts:

Customize your boating experience with various aft layout options, including an open aft, bench, wet bar module, or spacious aft cabin. The aft cabin is a notably impressive upgrade with easier access from the pilothouse, larger spaces for sleeping and complete opening garage access from the aft, perfect for storage. On top of the now larger cockpit fridges Axopar have introduced the exciting new option for a wetbar replacing the starboard fender locker offering a convenient barbecue setup, featuring a Magma barbecue mounted on a post, and a spacious deep fridge and sink configuration.

Axopar 29 Sun Top

The Axopar 29 Sun Top hosts a new opening sunroof, inspired by the success of the 37 Sun Top, stretching to the aft of the cockpit area this sun top offers owners the choice between total sun protection or sunbathing with its electric sliding canvas roof. The cockpit area is designed for functionality and sociability, featuring a standard layout with four aft seats and two swivelling helm seats, alongside an optional U-shaped seating configuration with a large foldable table for seamless transitions between dining and lounging modes, certainly a popular choice for Australians.

Additionally, the user-friendly helm layout ensures a pleasurable driving experience in any condition, with adjustable seats, unobstructed views, and easy access from both port and starboard.

Peter explains, "Having access from the driver's side is a game changer, making docking and taking lines a breeze."

Axopar 29 Cross Cabin

The Axopar 29 Cross Cabin pilothouse and opening sunroof are further elevated from the previous award winning 28 cabin. The area is now more spacious and functional with 360 degrees vision from the helm, making docking and navigation a breeze. "It is clear that every detail is cleverly thought out," says Peter.

The first Axopar 29 Sun Top will premiere at Sanctuary Cove Boat Show in May 2024 while the first Axopar 29 Cross Cabin will make its debut at Sydney Boat Show in August 2024. Get in touch to be amongst the first to see this incredible new model in the flesh.
