At this year's Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, 23 to 26 May, Sirocco Marine will have a massive line-up of Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) from the world's leading brands.

Occupying their traditional space along Masthead Way, Sirocco Marine dealers from all over Australia will present around 30 boats in total, representing the most popular models from BRIG, Zodiac and Williams.

Slava Rodionov, co-founder and CEO of BRIG, which manufactures in the Ukraine city of Kharkiv, will attend the show and meet with owners and dealers to present the innovations and plans for 2024.

"Visitors to this year's SCIBS will be able to inspect a wide range of RIBs from Zodiac and BRIG, including the larger models in the 6 and 8-metre segment," said Sirocco Marine Managing Director, Neil Webster.

Sirocco Marine has been Australian dealer for BRIG since 2006 and received the BRIG International Dealer of the Year Award for five consecutive years.

Returning to the boat show circuit is a new model BRIG Eagle 10, the flagship of the BRIG range.

At 10.2-metres, the go-anywhere Brig Eagle 10 is a true 50 knot boat, powered by twin 300hp engines and with an array of features that make it the most versatile and best value day boat and weekender on the market.

The Eagle 10 boasts a deep-V-hull that ensures a dry, smooth ride. It's more stable, lightweight and low-maintenance than its hard-sided counterparts, and with room for up to 16 people, it has a capacity double a 10-metre fibreglass boat.

It features comfortable seats, a convertible table and sun deck, a sink unit that can accommodate a fridge/stove, a convenient stern swim platform with folding ladder and outdoor shower kit, plus a well-appointed cabin complete with double bed for evenings when you just want to rest after a great day of sun and sea.

Then there's the Eagle 8, BRIG's luxury family cruiser with a sleek, iconic profile and stylish design for fun family days on the water.

With space on board for up to 16 passengers, it features a table and seating for six, with large lockers under the seating and the extended bow can be equipped with either a generous sundeck or an additional seating area. There's an electric toilet under the helm station, plus a freshwater shower on the transom.

As with all the Eagle series, the Eagle 8 is designed with a reinforced deep-V hull, along with extended waterline length, extra-wide tubes and a square bow, all of which ensure a stable and dry ride even in heavy seas. The Eagle 8 can be equipped with a 350hp engine for a top speed of 48 knots.

From Zodiac, the pioneer in RIBs since the 1930s, there will be an impressive selection of the best-selling tenders and larger models up to the flagship Medline 9.

The Zodiac Medline 9 is positioned as a private oasis. At 9-metres with a 3-metre beam, the Medline 9 is the largest in the range.

A versatile centre console RIB, it features two large relaxation areas - a double bow and rear U-shaped lounge aft, convertible to a sundeck space - plus a sleeping cabin with porthole windows, integrated kitchen, plenty of storage compartments, and bathing platform with deck shower and telescopic boarding ladder for safe and easy access to the water.

Rated for up to 20 people, the Medline 9 offers a myriad of options and accessories to customise your vessel to suit your requirements: diving, fishing, watersports, island hopping and safe family boating.

In the cockpit, a double bench seat with armrests will welcome pilot or co-pilot sitting or standing for driving. Powered by twin 350hp engines, the Medline 9 is capable of 55 knots.

Crowning the Sirocco Marine display will be a head-turning day boat from the Netherlands, theSirocco 730i.

The 7.3-metre vessel boasts an inboard diesel engine, offering owners more economical, low maintenance, family-friendly cruising.

With her distinctive navy-blue hull and tan bimini for protection against the elements, the Sirocco 730i is ideal for cruising Australian waterways, from Sydney Harbour, Pittwater and the Hawkesbury to Port Phillip Bay and the Gold Coast Broadwater and canals.

The swim platform provides ease of access and can be used for sunbathing and watersports. The cockpit gate leads to a well-appointed interior, complete with steering console with convenient toilet/storage space, plus the option for an additional cooler and a kitchenette.

The impeccably-crafted teak decks add to the classic aesthetic, complemented by upholstery with high back cushions and U-shaped seating forward around a central table that can be converted into a large sunpad.

"The Sirocco 730i is a big, solid platform with plenty of creature comforts on board for up to 10 guests," says Neil.

"It offers owners all the advantages of a diesel shaft drive, superb handling, and user-friendly, economical operation. There's nothing like it on the market that combines such an elegant profile and large, social space."

Extremely comfortable and stable with a deep-V hull to handle all conditions, the Sirocco 730i delivers speed when it's required, powered by either Vetus 52hp for a top speed of 12 knots, or Yanmar 110hp to reach 20 knots.

Other standard features include a stainless-steel swim ladder, hydraulic steering, bowthruster, and zipper front window in the sprayhood.
