Class selects Ben McGrane & Russ Clark to represent them at the 2024 event

The UK Flying Fifteen class has selected Hyde Sails supremo and former Olympic campaigner Ben McGrane to represent them at the 2024 Keelboat Endeavour Trophy taking place in April at Royal Corinthian YC.

The Keelboat Endeavour Trophy is sailed in a matched fleet of 707 keelboats, with each boat representing a different keelboat class and carrying a crew of four. Competition consists of a series of fleet races designed to emphasize tight, high-speed sailing and minimise the spread in the fleet, and with a target time of only 15 minutes per race - with the winner after two days of competition being crowned Keelboat Champion of Champions.

Ben will team-up again with Russ Clark to form the afterguard of Flying Fifteen entry, Ben & Russ having won the 2023 Flying Fifteen National Championships held at Weymouth & Portland Sailing Academy, and they will no doubt be amongst the front runners when the class hosts its high-profile World Championships event at the same venue in 2025.
