The freestyle community has plenty to choose from this month when it comes to windsurfing videos!

After a couple exciting releases to kick 2024 off, the spotlight is now taken by the 2023 European Tow-In Champion George Grisley (Duotone), who just released his first short film titled "BITTERSWEET".

Set in Jericoacoara in Brazil, one of the best places in the world to practice freestyle windsurfing, the film explores the bittersweet reality of the life of a professional windsurfer. Although filled with excellent action, the film has much more on offer than just Grisley's spectacular sailing. Make sure to check out the clip below!

The film was shot and edited by Maarten Molenaar (WeOne/Gunsails/Maui Ultra Fins), who recently released his own freestyle windsurfing film "Pasko - The Magic Move". The film is currently not available online anymore due to film festival submissions, but will be available again later this year!

Brazil was the backdrop of more exciting windsurfing productions this fall. Also releasing an exciting freestyle clip was Raphael Bauer (Starboard/Severne). The Frenchman kickstarted his travel series UTOPIA with a video from Jericoacoara. We caught up with him for an interview, which you can read along with watching his clip through the links below!

We've also heard rumours that Felix Volkhardt (Severne/ Maui Ultra Fins) will be releasing his clip from California in the upcoming days, only adding to the excitement on the scene!
