Expansion of in-water displays for 2024 Thailand International Boat Show

The second annual Thailand International Boat Show A Luxury Lifestyle Event will present an expanded in-water display of sail and power ranging from tenders and speedboats up to the Princess Y95 which will be premiering in Thailand.

Taking place 11 - 14 January 2024 at Royal Phuket Marina, the in-water display is complemented by an onshore display of marine products and services, and luxury lifestyle, as well as the Thailand Yachting Conference, Robb Report Thailand Best Of The Best Yachting Awards Gala Dinner, and a vibrant social programme on the boardwalk.

Working closely with the Thai government and industry stakeholders, organisers JAND Events aim to drive yacht tourism and position Thailand as the leading marine leisure playground in the region, and is also the first boat show in Thailand to be carbon neutral.

"The 2024 Thailand International Boat Show A Luxury Lifestyle Event includes an expanded in-water display with many of the top brokers in the region showcasing leading boat brands from around the world," commented David Hayes, CEO of organisers JAND Events. "Building on last year's success, we are adding a B2B element to the show this year with the inaugural Thailand Yachting Conference - an ideal platform for industry information exchange and networking - and the Robb Report Thailand Best Of The Best Yachting Awards Gala Dinner."

Expanded in-water displays

Building on the inaugural event's success, the 2024 event will include a larger in-water display and a wider choice of brands for discerning buyers. With six boats, Simpson Marine's in-water line-up includes the San Lorenzo SX76, Lagoon 51, Beneteau Swift Trawler 48m, Fairline Targa 45, Aquila 36 and the Beneteau Flyer 8. Boat Lagoon Yachting's five-strong display includes the largest in the show, the Princess Y95, together with a Princess F62 and F55 as well as a Cap Camarat 10.5 CC by Jeanneau and a Ferretti Yachts 850. Derani Yachts will also be displaying five boats including the 45, 37, 22 from the popular Axopar range as well as the Brabus Shadow 500 Cabin and a Greenline 40.

V Yachts Asia will be showing a Ferretti Yachts 780, Ferretti Yachts 500 and a Riva 76' Perseo Super, Asia Yachting will be displaying two models from Prestige Yachts, the 590 and 420, while Lee Marine will be showcasing two boats from Riviera - the Riviera 78MY and Riviera 4600 SY.

The Yacht Sales Co are displaying a mix of multihulls and monohulls including the Fountaine Pajot Algeria 67, Dufour 61 and the Monte Carlo Yachts MCY 70, while Leopard Catamarans are showcasing a Leopard 45 and a Leopard 46 Powercat.

Other exhibitors in-the-water include Northrop & Johnson, Asia Yacht Agency, Extreme Marine (Thailand) with a first time showing of the Al Dhaen 365cc, Asia Marine with Bali Catamarans and Go Boating displaying a Silvercraft 36.

A wide range of marine businesses and products, and services from the luxury lifestyle sector will also be exhibiting onshore. In the new purpose-built air-conditioned exhibition space are A. & Marine, Aqua Air Asia, ASA Group, Cholamark Boat, Flexiteek, FLS Yachts, Hull Co. Ltd, Marine Services Asia, Nava by Thaicom, Nespresso, Octopus Electrical Service, Royal Phuket Marina, SEA Yacht Sales, Siam Legal (Thailand), Thailand Privilege. While on the boardwalk are AMI Marine International, Aoy's Hoy Oyster Bar, Disabled Sailing Thailand, Entropy Solar, Hilda Loe Associates, SEABOB, Torqeedo Asia Pacific, UWC International School.

Also present at the show for the first time are private jet companies Cessna & Beechcraft by Textron Aviation, who are the VIP Lounge Presenting Sponsor, and Chapman Freeborn.

Thailand Yachting Conference

Being held for the first time at the 2024 Thailand International Boat Show A Luxury Lifestyle Event, the yachting conference includes a keynote on Thailand as a yachting destination presented by the Tourism Authority of Thailand as well as presentations and updates on immigration, infrastructure, regulations and more in the Andaman Sea and Gulf of Thailand regions. Industry panel discussions will focus on topics relevant to stakeholders in Asia and include superyachts, yacht charter, yacht management, and technology and sustainability.
