The AC40 Race Day 1 will be broadcast live from Jeddah starting at 1030UTC (2330NZT) for the second Preliminary Regatta of the 37th America's Cup.

You can view the live racing in this story - and hopefully the replay for those out of the timezone.

NB If you have fast line speed, then go to the Settings (wagonwheel) at the bottom right hand corner of the Youtube screen; click on the wagonwheel icon, and you should see a pop-up menu appear; Select the top option 1080P60 HD. You should then see an immediate improvement in Quality and a high definition video. Don't leave it in Auto - you have to force the switch. Don't forget to click the most right hand icon in that same toolbar to get Full Screen, of just click F and ESC to exit full screen mode. Enjoy!

What's happening:

The six America's Cup teams will sail the AC40 One Designs, competing to be one of two Finalists for the last winner takes all race on Day 3 - Saturday

The Defender of the America’s Cup, Emirates Team New Zealand will compete along with the five Challenger teams: INEOS Britannia, Alinghi Red Bull Racing, Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli, NYYC American Magic, and Orient Express Racing Team - they will all be competing in AC40 One Designs.

Racing will take place on Thursday 30 November to Saturday 2 December from 13:30 (local time) to 15:30 (local time) with Official Practice racing on Wednesday 29 November

Racing will be conducted in the world’s newest foiling class, the AC40 and all boats will be sailed in one-design mode and equally matched.

Racing starts with two days of fleet racing where all the six teams will line up on the start line together.

After up to eight fleet races, the top two teams will progress to the winner-takes-all final match race to decide the ultimate winner of the event.

It is a high scoring event, meaning the winner of each fleet race takes 10 points, the second team takes 7, the third takes 5, the fourth takes 3, the fifth takes 2, and the sixth takes 1 point
