Official Partners announced for 2023 World Sailing Youth Match Racing World Championship

The Cruising Yacht Club of Australia is pleased to announce the Official Partners for the 2023 World Sailing Youth Match Racing World Championship, scheduled for 9 - 15 December in Sydney, Australia.

The Mercure Hotel Sydney, Helly Hansen Australia and Audi Centre Sydney have joined as Official Hotel, Clothing and Vehicle Partners.

The event will see the newly crowned official World Sailing Youth Match Racing World Champion.

The Official Hotel Partner, the Mercure Hotel Sydney has been newly refurbished and is conveniently located near Central Station. The 4-star hotel is among the leading hotels for business and holiday travel in bustling Sydney CBD and will accommodate all competitors and officials during the Championship. All competitors and officials accommodated at Mercure Hotel Sydney can expect comfortable, spacious and modern rooms with plush beds, 24-hour room service and picturesque views of Sydney CBD's skyline. Hotel amenities include a heated rooftop pool, fitness centre and sauna, as well three on-site dining experiences.

This year's Official Clothing Partner, Helly Hansen, is fresh off joining the CYCA as a Club and Youth Sailing Academy Partner, which will extend beyond just this World Championship. An official merchandise range has been created for the event with officials and competitors receiving event apparel. Helly Hansen will also be the official merchandise partner for the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia.

From their home in Norway, Helly Hansen has been making professional grade gear to help people stay and feel alive for over 140 years.

Finally, Club Partner, Audi Centre Sydney have joined as the Official Vehicle Partner for the Championship with the Officials being exclusively driven to and from the Club in Audi vehicles. During the Championship, some of the latest models from Audi Centre Sydney will be on display in the Rolex Sydney Race Village.

Twelve teams from ten countries will compete for the World Championship, with racing scheduled from Monday 11 December to Friday 15 December.
