Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC) is excited to kick start the highly anticipated Dubai SB20 Triple Sailing Championships, comprising a series of three sailing competitions: the Middle East Championships, the Asia Pacific Championships, and the World Championships. All are being held in Dubai waters and hosted by DOSC.

The SB20 Middle East Championships will take place from the 1st to 3rd of December 2023. The world's top sailors will converge in Dubai for the event that promises exhilarating races and a display of exceptional sailing skills.

Whilst sailors compete for the winning titles, their families and spectators can enjoy an unforgettable experience at the fan zone village. Fans will be able to watch live on-the-water coverage and enjoy spectacular entertainment in a vibrant atmosphere.

The SB20 Asia Pacific Championships will be held from 2nd to 4th February 2024 and will allow sailors to further hone their skills and understanding of the local sailing conditions.

The Triple will culminate in the SB20 World Championships which will take place from 11th to 16th February 2024 where sailors from around the globe will complete for that coveted title.

The registrations for SB20 Middle East Championships are currently open until the 15th November on the DOSC website.

Commenting on the title sponsorship Ramesh Cidambi, COO of Dubai Duty Free said, "We are delighted to be the title sponsor of the three SB20 Championship events namely, the SB20 World Championships 2024, SB20 Middle East Championships and SB20 Asia Pacific Championships. Dubai Offshore Sailing Club is a great venue with a dedicated team, and we are glad to partner with them once again. With our successful sponsorship of the Dubai Duty Free Sailing League Regatta in the past two years, we believe that these new events will further elevate the sport which has a very strong following both in the region and internationally."

Hosting the event during DOSC's Golden Jubilee year Simon Reeves, the Commodore of Dubai Offshore Sailing Club, commented "We are pleased to host the SB20 World Championships 2024, SB20 Middle East Championships and SB20 Asia Pacific Championships in Dubai, and we are particularly pleased to have the continued support of Dubai Duty Free as our title sponsor. The dedicated support and commitment from Dubai Duty Free has been significant in making these events possible. We look forward to welcoming and hosting the international sailing community to our shores and showcasing the exceptional sailing conditions Dubai has to offer."

Dubai Duty Free's partnership with DOSC for these Championships reaffirms their commitment to promoting world-class sports and further solidifies their position as a leading supporter of the local sporting community. DOSC and DDF previously collaborated for the highly successful DDF Regatta held last year in December, and before that, in December 2021.
