Fish 'n' $IP$ is the gift that keeps on giving

When it rains, it pours... we've had not one, not two, but THREE winners in our Fish 'n' $IP$ tagged fishing competition in the space of a week!

Taking home fifth place and $2,000 is Tim Meyers, who caught a 106cm barramundi at Callide Dam (near Biloela) on Thursday 26 October. This brute had grown 15cm since being tagged and released last September.

Fast-forward four days, and Lachie Latham pulled in an 88cm barra at Kinchant Dam (west of Mackay), snaring $1,000 for his efforts.

Then Lachie's mate Kyle got in on the act soon after with a 93cm barra from the same location. Boom, another $1,000! Well done gents!

Just a reminder this competition has been extended till the end of January 2024, and there are still 9 tagged fish to be caught worth $1,000 each - so grab a permit and get out there.
