Explore the Gulf and the Indian Ocean in style with a charter on brand new 47m explorer Para Bellum

by EKKA Yachts 10 Nov 2023 03:06 PST

Exceptional experiences require an exceptional platform, and few are as exceptional as the 47-metre explorer yacht Para Bellum. Based in Dubai but also considering charters in the Indian Ocean this winter and now being offered for charter, Para Bellum is the ultimate platform for experiencing every facet and fascinating destination the Gulf region and the Indian Ocean have to offer.

Built at Sanlorenzo - one of the best-known and most prestigious Italian superyacht shipyards - and launched in the summer of 2023, Para Bellum is an exercise in precision building coupled with extensive custom features that make her unique in Sanlorenzo's Explorer model line-up. The result is a brand new yacht that is perfect for exploring dynamic, diverse and divine destinations from Dubai and the Gulf Coast to the Maldives and the Seychelles.

Discover the yacht, discover the region

She will not only get anywhere in style, she offers everything a discerning charterer could want. There's a vast 113-square-metre aft sea-deck terrace that also boasts the only aft infinity pool found on an Explorer series yacht. There's a huge, shaded sundeck with a forward observation lounge, and an equally inviting upper deck with large aft terrace for lazing or dining. There are the highly custom but cosy and inviting interiors, and a master suite that has its own drop-down terrace over the sea - and of course there is a garage full of toys and treasures to suit all kids, young and adult alike.

"Para Bellum is perhaps the most capable and customised explorer yacht on the charter market in her size bracket, and that makes her the perfect platform for enjoying everything that the Gulf Coast and the Indian Ocean have to offer, whether you're looking to delve into the art, culture and nightlife of Dubai or escape to serene seclusion in the islands and beyond," says Myrto Kyriazakou, Charter Manager at EKKA Yachts. "She was specified to perfection by her owner and built to the highest levels of quality by Sanlorenzo. We're really excited that she is available for charter, because she's simply unbeatable as a go-anywhere, do-anything platform. It means we can create any itinerary a charterer desires, and that in turn means creating memories that will last a lifetime."

Style and substance

As soon as you see her striking profile, there can be little doubt of the purpose that lies within Para Bellum's soul. The forward superstructure not only shouts explorer, it also creates aft deck areas that rival those of far larger yachts. Such a variety of outdoor options - all shaded by hardtop or awning, and complemented by the aft deck pool and sundeck jacuzzi - means there's enough space for family and friends to get together, or to find their own little nooks and niches of heaven to read a book and unwind.

The upper deck features a sumptuous skylounge with a sofa, daybed and expansive views, while on the main deck there's a comfortable saloon and interior aft dining area, all with the benefit of air-conditioning. Her interior style combines nautical with beach house, warm wood tones and light, bright textiles with an array of modern curves and subtle textures, all realised by renowned architect Antonio Citterio.

Her master suite takes pride of place in the forward widebody section of the main deck, boasting a glorious forward ensuite and walk-in wardrobe, large hull windows for light and views, and that exceptional terrace - an idyllic, private spot for taking morning coffee or an evening cocktail while surveying the landscapes and seascapes of your chosen destination. Guests are also served well with sublime lower-deck ensuite cabins - two VIP doubles, and two twin/doubles with pullman berths.

"There's nothing on Para Bellum that is left wanting," says Kyriazakou. "From her beautiful, custom interior to her amazing deck spaces - each one boasting a bar - and her beach club and gymnasium, she is a fearless yacht geared for fabulous cruising. She's the standout charter boat in the region this winter season."

Adding to her impressive facilities is her equally impressive toy chest, which includes inflatables, towables, jet skis, Seabobs, an underwater scooter, and waterskiing gear for adults and children. The yacht also comes with an 8.5-metre, all-weather XO chase boat/tender, offering the chance to explore even further into secluded coves, secret inlets and hidden island gems or even to serve as a romantic mini escape for couples.

Finally, Para Bellum boasts one of the best examples of perhaps the most important facets of a good charter yacht - a highly experienced team crew of 10 whose sole focus is to make your dream charter a reality. They are adaptable to be as involved or as discreet as you prefer, and able to look after kids of all ages if you are looking for your own quiet time; they serve as your ideal personal guides to everything the region has to offer, and their attention to detail is reflected in every aspect of their exceptional service. They also include a Michelin-trained Chef who is on hand to cater to your every culinary desire and to wow you with gourmet masterpieces.

Para Bellum is available for bookings through winter 2023-24 in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, the Gulf Region, Maldives and Seychelles. She is also available for summer 2024 bookings based in France, Italy and Croatia.
