We are very excited to release the Scorpion sailing programme for the 2024 season, with events at established Scorpion favourite venues and new ones to add to the fold.

  • April 6/7 - Staunton Harold
  • May 4/5 - Notts County
  • May 6- Notts County Youth Open
  • May 25/26 - Lymington Town as part of Lymington Dinghy Regatta
  • June 15/16 - Sidmouth
  • July 13/14 - Starcross as part of Exe Regatta (Scorpion start confirmed)
  • July 27-Aug 2nd - Castle Cove Nationals
  • Sept 14/15 - Grafham Inlands
  • Oct 19/20 - Isle of Sheppey
  • Nov 2/3- Pennine End of Seasons
  • With a date to be added in for March very soon.

We are also very pleased to announce that the capacity for the Nationals at Castle Cove has been raised to 100, thanks to the amazing hard work pulling out all the stops that Castle Cove have been putting in behind the scenes to make this the Championship of the Summer. Pre-entries have already hit 100, but if there are any spaces that become available, then we will let people know how to take advantage.

We'll also follow up shortly with details on how Scorpion Foundation (support for youth sailors) entries will work this year.

Huge thanks to both DeWALT and CraftInsure for their continued support of the class, and to everyone sailing Scorpions for their support. If you fancy joining the fun this year, and it is a lot of fun, then do reach out to class on Facebook or by emailing
