The GWA Wingfoil World Cup Tarifa event unfolded over the course of four exciting days, yet the competition reached its thrilling conclusion in just two, delivering a series of remarkable upsets and surprises.
Among these unforgettable moments was the emergence of a young talent, Christopher MacDonald from the USA, who clinched his inaugural world title in Surf-Freestyle discipline.
We have witnessed an amazing level of riding last week in Tarifa, as the athletes pushed new tricks, innovative moves, and increased the power and execution.

2nd - Bastien Escofet (FRA)
3rd - Jerome Cloetens (ESP)
The level of women's wingfoiling is increasing at an incredible rate, and here in Tarifa the female riders put on an outstanding show for the crowds at Valdevaqueros Beach.

The climactic conclusion of the 2023 GWA Wingfoil World Tour season will unfold in Cauipe, Brazil, from November 21st to the 25th. This eagerly anticipated final event will showcase two disciplines - FreeFly-Slalom and Surf-Freestyle.
In Denmark, Nia Suardiaz ascended to the dual crowns of FreeFly-Slalom and Surf-Freestyle World Champion, while in Tarifa, Chris MacDonald claimed the Surf-Freestyle World Champion title. This leaves just one World Title up for contention - the Men's FreeFly-Slalom. At the moment, the dynamic duo of Titouan Galea and Francesco Cappuzzo find themselves neck and neck in the points tally, with Bastian Escofet following closely in second and Alan Fedit in third.
