Meet John Tilley and Kristina Costalos who run an exciting YouTube channel called Kristina's Travels.

When the Covid pandemic hit John & Kristina took the opportunity to live out their sailing dream. With limited sailing experience they packed up their life in Melbourne, purchased a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 50DS, Tucana, and sailed her from Melbourne up the east coast of Australia as far north as Lizard Island.

The whole trip was documented on their YouTube channel which gained so much popularity it is currently sitting at over 27 million views!

After completing their dream trip they decided to dream bigger! Tucana was sold in Queensland so John & Kristina could take their travels global. Their sailing adventures have taken them everywhere from the Greek Islands to the Bahamas, and earlier in 2023 John and Kristina waved goodbye from the cockpit of the all new Jeanneau Yachts 55 as they departed downtown Barcelona in Spain.

Over the course of their six-week adventure on the Jeanneau Yachts 55, John and Kristina will sail through Corsica, Sardinia, Nice, with several stops along the French coast before returning to Barcelona, documenting the whole trip on their YouTube channel, showing off what the innovative design of the Jeanneau Yachts 55 is capable of.

The Jeanneau Yachts 55 is a completely new design from the Jeanneau Design team including Philippe Briand and Andrew Winch. Featuring a revolutionary dual cockpit layout with large aft sundeck and saloons, an exterior nav station sheltered under a hard top & spray hood, and simple sail plan to allow for ease of use, the Jeanneau Yachts 55 is the perfect cruiser.

Each guest cabin has its own companionway leading to large beds with ensuites on either side, with the main companionway leading to the saloon, galley and master cabin.

Finished to the high standard of the Jeanneau Yachts line and designed for blue water sailors to cruise in pure comfort and luxury, the Jeanneau Yachts 55 really is a sight to behold!
