Live Ocean Racing has finished the ETF26 Series season in 4th place, after wrapping up the season finale in 5th place.

On the final day of this event, and the season, the fleet sailed three races including two short course windward leewards, and a longer course RAID. Los Alcazares, Spain delivered stunning sailing conditions for the four day event with a full schedule of 18 races sailed.

The New Zealand team led by Liv Mackay rounded out their season strongly, with a 5th, 2nd and then 5th in the RAID race.

"We had 10-12 knots, so slightly lighter than yesterday," reports Mackay.

"Racing was similar to the other days with good breeze, really tactical, and super fun."

"In the second race we were very close to winning."

In the RAID Live Ocean Racing were lying 2nd for much of the race until a sub-optimal kite hoist cost them some places.

Prize-giving followed the day of racing with the Live Ocean Racing team packing up and leaving Los Alcazares tomorrow.

With Liv Mackay leading a new combination for the Live Ocean Racing team with core sailing crew Alex Maloney, Seb Menzies, and Serena Woodall, it's been a great season and the team are grateful for the support from supporters, fans and followers. The team's principal team sponsor is OMEGA.

"We're really thankful for the support from everyone," says Mackay.
