Typhoon International has strengthened its managerial team by appointing Kevin Coulthard as Managing Director.

Joining Typhoon with a wealth of operational and manufacturing experience from across various industries, Kevin will be responsible for maintaining Typhoon's position as one of the leading manufacturers in the marine industry, building on the company's seven decades of excellence in watersports equipment and apparel design and manufacture.

"As Typhoon's new Managing Director, I am excited about leading a business that has such a long-term heritage within the marine industry, with supreme quality products across the military, commercial, and leisure sectors of the market," says Kevin.

"I feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to lead a committed and dedicated work force, and my direction is to ensure the longevity of Typhoon for decades to come, with our customers at the centre of everything we do, knowing they rely on our products to protect and safeguard them from extreme environments."

Having started his new role mid-September 2023, Kevin will be on the Typhoon stand (05.241) at this year's Metstrade (15-17 November 2023), where he is looking forward to meeting industry colleagues and members of the press.
