Jibe Set leads French J/70 Coupe de France

Organized by the Société Nautique de Genève, the Swiss J/70 Championship took place from September 14 to 17.

Thirty-eight J/70s, including five French crews, were present on Lake Geneva for this sixth stage of the Coupe de France / Mediterranean classification.

After six races, it was Bernard MORIEUL's J-GATOR that won this stage of the Coupe de France, ahead of Patrick TORFOU with 88 points, Elisabeth VAILLANT with 98 points, and Philippe BONAVITA with 151 points.

J/70 Cup France series standings
After the first five stages (Spi Ouest-France and ISPE Trophy in the Atlantic, MASSILIA and SNIM in the Mediterranean, and the French Championship in Brest), it is Hervé LEDUC's JIBE SET who are in the lead with 440 points, ahead Pierre LAOUENAN with 430 points and Damian MICHELIER with 400 points.

Patrick TORFOU takes the lead in the Mediterranean ranking with 230 points, ahead of Timothée ROSSI with 220 points and Elisabeth VAILLANT with 150 points.
