Shakespeare® Marine, the world leader in marine antenna design, announces the launch of its new distribution hub, located in Shanghai, China.

Operational from 1 January 2024, the new Chinese distribution centre positions Shakespeare® Marine as the world's first antenna manufacturer to secure warehouse space across Europe, America and Asia.

Following a year of significant company growth and an ever-increasing global presence, the launch of Shakespeare® Marine's new hub allows the brand to further support sales in its Asia and Australasia markets. The new distribution warehouse will initially stock an inventory of its best-selling product lines, from industry-leading VHF, AIS, HDTV marine antennas and the brand's QuickConnect™ range, to heavy-duty stainless-steel mounts. This includes Shakespeare Marine's renowned 5912-DORSAL VHF antenna, V-Tronix Fibreglass VHF antenna and Classic AIS antenna, with plans to expand the range in the future.

The Chinese distribution centre will provide significant cost savings, with reduced transportation and delivery times for customers in Asia and Australasia. Orders from the new warehouse are estimated to have a transit time of two to three weeks - an impressive time-saving solution compared to the usual eight-to-ten-week turnaround when ordering from Europe or the US. Providing further efficiency, not only is the new hub a cost and time-effective development, but the expansion also reduces carbon emissions, custom taxes and provides simplified logistics.

Mark Ye, Managing Director for Shanghai Sathon International Enterprise Limited and manager of the new Shakespeare® Marine warehouse, comments, "We are delighted to provide warehouse facilities and services in Shanghai for Shakespeare® Marine's leading antennas. This will hugely benefit customers to ensure the Asia and Australasian markets receive products more quickly, efficiently and sustainably. We have been working with Shakespeare® Marine for over 20 years and look forward to our new chapter, strengthening our cooperation and broadening our business scope."

Dave Manasseh, European Sales Manager for Shakespeare® Marine, comments, "The launch of our new Chinese distribution hub marks a pivotal point of growth for the brand. We are confident this new milestone will provide improved logistics, faster delivery times and cost-savings for the region, in response to the success we've seen across the Asia and Australasian markets. This expansion also offers exciting prospects for Shakespeare® Marine, our distributor partners and customers, and is another positive step to improve our carbon footprint!"

Shakespeare® Marine is the leading, global antenna brand with a reputation for superior quality, performance and durability. Its award-winning products are stocked in 50 countries around the world.
