Racing in style: Queensland French Yacht Owners Association announces their upcoming two-day regatta

After 17 successful years of organising the Beneteau Cup and 10 years of holding the French Cup Challenge, the Queensland French Yacht Owners Association (FYOA) is proudly presenting its upcoming regatta, promising a showcase of top-class vessels and exciting racing experiences.

The QFYOA Regatta has long been a highlight on the RQYS yachting calendar, attracting yacht owners and crew from across south Queensland. This year, the event is set to take place from October 21st to 22nd, including three divisions: Rally, Cruising Spinnaker and Performance.

Apres Race activities
A social sailing celebration of all things French includes a Best Dressed "French Themed" boat and crew award, Saturday BBQ and Sunday Trophy presentations with prizes from generous sponsors.

Beyond the sheer beauty of the vessels, the regatta is also about strong competition on the water. With a diverse fleet, ranging from classic monohulls to cutting-edge multihulls, each category offers its unique set of experiences for participants.
