Leslie Green and the Ginger crew made a remarkable mark in MC38 Act 5, securing three consecutive victories during the event. Ideal sailing conditions prevailed, with a steady 10-knot east-southeasterly breeze on The Sound.

Ginger's consistent performance was the standout of the event, achieving first place in all three races, solidifying their position as the dominant force in MC38 Act 5.

Meanwhile, the battle for the remaining top positions was fiercely competitive. Katie Spithill led the all-female team on Leap AU, while Matt Hanning helmed Dye & Durham Thor. Both teams ended with equal points, with Matt Hanning's crew ultimately securing second place following a tie-breaker.

The smooth running of MC38 Act 5 was made possible by the dedication of the MHYC Race Management Volunteers, and Marg Fraser-Martin captured the thrilling moments with her photography skills.

The event was a testament to spirited competition and sportsmanship, providing a platform for sailors to showcase their skills and determination. Access the full results here.

The MC38 Class Association can take pride in MC38 Act 5, an event that underscored the exceptional abilities of all participating teams.
