Day two of the 2023 Nationals proved to be a true test, thanks to the unpredictable weather.
With an hour-and-a-half delay, we patiently waited for the wind to pick up, hoping for a Race 3 start. However, just as things seemed to be falling into place, a General Recall was sounded, throwing us back into uncertainty as the winds played tricks on us.
Amidst the shifting breezes and growing uncertainty, PRO Mark DeGuire called for an AP over H. Competitors headed back to the launch for an early head start to prepare for the first big social event of the regatta celebrating 100 years of the enduring legacy of the E Scow.
