Henri-Lloyd - For the Obsessed

Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 2023 - an inspiring opening

by Quinag 5 Sep 2023 12:44 PDT 3-9 September 2023

The first two days of the 33rd Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup have presented the fleet with a mix of conditions, both sublime and challenging. For the elite crews, the early competition has drawn heavily upon their skill, determination and prowess.

For the spectator, the exhibition by some of the sailing world's largest and most powerful yachts has been compelling and inspiring. Rolex has enjoyed a privileged and near 40-year-long partnership with the regatta, organized by the incomparable Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, in conjunction with the International Maxi Association.

The first two days saw the six classes take on a mix of coastal racing in and around the Maddalena Archipelago and windward/leeward courses.
