Standard entries close at midnight 5th September for the UK National Championships supported by UK Global at Weymouth and Portland Sailing Academy between 21 - 24 September 2023.

The UK Flying Fifteen Association (UKFFA) is looking forward to the event with four days of racing in Weymouth Bay, weather permitting.

The event has already attracted a large fleet with over forty-five boats registered. Entrants have come from all over the country from Scotland, Blackpool, the Lake District, many of the central lakes and the South Coast. The largest contingents come from Parkstone Yacht Club and Hayling Island Sailing Club with nine boats from each entered.

The entry list includes, World Champions, European Champions, National Champions, regular club sailors and a wide variety of ages.

Amongst the big names are the current European Champions, Andy McKee from Dovestone Sailing Club with Richard Jones. Andy has recently won the Northern Area Championships so comes to Weymouth on good form.

And, Chris Turner, who has won multiple world championships with helm Graham Vials, has teamed up with Richard Lovering for this Championship.

On the water we have Adam Bowers who will be offering coaching and post-race debriefs for three days during the event. His aim for the week is to give hints and tips to help you move up the leaderboard.

There will also be daily prize-givings, a sailors' supper on Thursday evening, a BBQ on Saturday evening and tea and cake on Sunday - all included in the entry fee.

Standard entry shuts on 5 September 2023. Enter at flying15.org.uk/uk-association/nationals-entry-2023
