The mid-point stop of the Kite-Surf discipline's season in Sylt comes shortly after the conclusion of the event at Rio de Janeiro's Saquarema break.

The rugged North Sea coastline of Sylt will provide a vastly different stage, presenting unique challenges distinct from the tropical setting of Rio.

In contrast to Rio, the Sylt competition will take place in a mixed format, requiring riders to perform in both wave riding and/or strapless freestyle disciplines depending on the conditions.

Following two events, Moona Whyte from the US currently holds the top spot in the rankings, while the reigning World Champion Capucine Delannoy takes the second position, and Brazil's Kesiane Rodriguez holds the third position.

On the men's side, Matchu Lopes has secured two victories and is currently leading the rankings, with Airton Cozzolino in second place and Sebastian Ribeiro in third. The Sylt event has the potential to shake things up, as we search for an all-round rider capable of performing in varied conditions.
