Two races were completed on Tuesday in the ILCA 7 fleets at the 2023 Allianz Sailing World Championships, in about 8-10 knots of wind with about 3 knots of current. No races were completed in the ILCA 6 fleets, bringing both the women and men to a total of four qualifying races.

Three races were planned today for the ILCA 7 fleets to make up for the lack of racing yesterday. However, after a delay of over 90 minutes to get the men's racing started, only two were sailed, and the Race Committee decided to hoist the AP over A flags for the women waiting on shore at 15:00.

On the ILCA 7 course, Great Britain's Michael Beckett had an outstanding performance, adding a third and second to his remarkably consistent scoreline. Beckett has only top-three finishes thus far at this championship after four races, which has put him atop the leaderboard. Only one point behind Beckett is Cypriot Olympian Pavlos Kontides, who had a tough first race - finishing 19th - before he won his second race of the day. Fortunately, with four races completed, the men have a dropped race now, and Kontides was able to drop his 19th. Germany's Philipp Buhl had a strong day, finishing sixth and first, which pushed him into third overall. Another notable performance came from New Zealand's George Gautrey who finished third and fourth to sit in seventh place overall, tied with Tokyo gold medalist Matt Wearn of Australia who is climbing his way up the leaderboard.

Scoring remains the same as Monday in the ILCA 6 fleet.

Today concluded the qualifying series, and tomorrow will begin the final series. Three races are scheduled for all ILCA fleets tomorrow, the intended lay day, with the first warning signal for both gold fleets at 11:00, and 14:00 for the silver fleets.
